Advocating to make Miami-Dade safe to bike, walk, and run

Listen to our new podcast channel…

Our vision is for a healthier, more livable, Miami-Dade County - with safer streets for everyone. Green Mobility Network advocates to make Miami-Dade County a safe and enjoyable place to bike, run, and walk. We embrace the principals of Complete Streets and support public transportation.

Friends of Ludlam Trail

The Ludlam Trail is a 6.2-mile linear park through the heart of Miami-Dade County. Set within a partially abandoned Florida East Coast railway right-of-way, the greenway will contain restored native habitats and a bicycle and pedestrian trail that will provide a safe, dedicated, and direct route for cyclists and pedestrians to schools, parks, work and shopping. The Ludlam Trail is a campaign of Green Mobility Network, Miami’s oldest bicycle and pedestrian advocacy organization. Please join us!

Biscayne-Everglades Greenway

The new Biscayne-Everglades Greenway is comprised of 43 miles of greenways and multi-purpose paths. It is the only trail in the United States that connects two National Parks. What makes it particularly unique, however, is that the trail travels through the community, creating opportunities for tourism and greater visitation to the parks.

Miami Run Club

The Run Club Network is South Florida’s fastest growing scene of people enthusiasts. It is more than just an evening run through the best scenery Miami and its surrounding areas have to offer. It is about people coming together to celebrate community and sweat a little. The Network started with its first location on Miami Beach on Lincoln Road in January of ’09. With Nike at the helm of that Run Club, the concept quickly raced across to Miami, Kendall, Coral Gables, Weston and Brickell.

Great Gator Gravel Grinder “4G”

The 4G is a charity ride benefitting Radio Lollipop at Nicklaus Children Children's Hospital in memory of Meagan Wentworth. The Southern-Most Un-Southern Gravel Grinder in the U.S. is back for the seventh year. Once again we will be starting and ending at Miami Brewing Company. The courses this year will be a 70 mile, 40 mile, 25 mile and a 10 mile short family route.

Plan Z: Rickenbacker Park

Plan Z for Miami seeks to transform this outdated, dangerous, single-use infrastructure into a world class, multi-modal recreational asset that promotes physical activity, health and well-being within a natural and safe environment. The concept for PLAN Z FOR MIAMI was generated in response to the recurring deaths of cyclists on the Rickenbacker Causeway in Miami-Dade County.
